CANCER

THE DEPARTMENT OF MICHIGAN VFW CANCER PROGRAM

The goal of the Department Cancer Program is to promote awareness of the various forms of cancer experienced by veterans as a result of their military service and to promote research efforts into treatments for all forms of cancer experienced by veterans and their family members.

We all know someone who has the dreaded disease - CANCER. The only way this disease can be beaten is through research. All money donated to our Department fund will be donated to the Karmanos Cancer Institute which is affiliated with the Wayne State School of Medicine for cancer research.
